From here you can explore the city, immersing yourself in the charm of history, art and tradition and savour its typical cuisine in the many taverns and bacari in the area.
Casa Trecento is part of one of the first residential nuclei of Venice, dating back to the end of 1300 and the beginning of 1500. It is located in the area of the famous Rialto Market and a short distance from Piazza San Marco.
Warm, cheerful and welcoming, the apartment is composed of: a well-equipped but traditional kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a mullioned window and a bathroom with a small bathtub with shower.
The entrance to the house, in ancient times used as a shoemaker’s shop, has remained as it once was, with the herringbone brick floor and exposed brick on the walls.
The structure of the house, the wooden beams and the Venetian mosaic floor, have been cleaned and restored, respecting the original typology. The added charm is to be found in the paintings and sculptures, works of those who once transformed this home into an artist’s lagoon refuge. Leaving them in the house is for us an act of affection towards it and trust in our guests.
